The type of care that orphans and vulnerable children receive within their institutional homes growing up has a huge impact on their ability to integrate with the wider community as they transition to adulthood and face the challenges that come along with it.

It was for this reason that Wataneya Society launched the youth development program Forsa in 2011, to help youth of age 15 years and older take the first steps towards professional development and empowerment. The program provides applicants with opportunities to discover their talents, develop their skills, and feel accomplished, through courses, workshops, and academic scholarships that prepare them for employment and motivate them to succeed.
