Wataneya Launching Sanad Forum “From Care to Independence”

December 2021

Under the title “From care… to independence” Wataneya launched the third Sanad Forum for 2021, in the presence of a distinguished group of speakers from civil society partners, private sector, and care homes that provided different types of support to youth transitioning from care. The forum also hosted young men and women without parental care who decided to share their inspiring experiences. The Forum discussed the challenges of the transition to independence for young men and girls without parental care, and the importance of supporting them to integrate safely into society, and also highlighted the importance of the role of caregivers at that stage.
