Nahla El-Nimer's story wins the American "Telly Awards" gold award

The story of Nahla Al-Nimr, Aftercare specialist at Wataneya Society and the ambassador of the Ministry of Social Solidarity, through her participation on the "Al-Saha" platform, won the gold prize in the American "Telly Awards 2022" competitions, which honor excellence in video production across television and digital platforms. This year, twelve thousand entries were competed for its awards, while the jury included more than two hundred prominent media experts, working in advertising agencies, production companies and major television networks.

"Al Saha" won the Gold Award for the documentary "Orphanhood, Color and Society... The Story of Nahla El-Nimr" in "Online Documentary" category, which tells the story of Nahla, who was bullied in her childhood because of the color of her skin and being an orphan, and how she turned what she considered weaknesses into strength. She became an advocate for the rights of orphans in Egypt.
